'Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' Ships More Than 1.7 Million Units

Take-Two Interactive Software has announced that shipments of 'The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' for PC and Xbox 360 have exceeded 1.7 million units worldwide. The 'Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' was developed by Bethesda Softworks and co-published by 2K Games, a Take-Two publishing label.
"We are very encouraged by the worldwide consumer demand for Oblivion," stated Paul Eibeler, Take-Two's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The development team at Bethesda promised and delivered the first true next generation role playing game experience."
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.
